Cetemmsa Broadens its Sphere of Action to the Rest of Spain
Cetemmsa, a not-for-profit textile technological
centre, has put together a new range of services so that sector
companies all over Spain can put innovation to work for them
to stay competitive and take advantage of the subsidies offered
by the government.
According to Cetemmsa data, only 34% of sector companies are
engaged in activities of technological innovation, despite the
fact that innovation in products and services is one of the
factors that these same companies regard as being necessary
to face the challenges of the future. Likewise, only 15% of
those companies engaged in innovation make corporate tax deductions
under this heading.
This state of affairs has led Cetemmsa to offer a range of basic
services designed to help Spanish textile companies take advantage
of the innovation subsidies offered by the government.
Cetemmsa’s services can be divided into four categories:
– Implementing innovation: assessment and training in
order to systematise innovation as a strategic process in the
company.
– Documenting R&D&i projects: identification of
innovation projects and their documentation in order to obtain
tax incentives.
– Improving distribution channels: optimising management
in shops as well as warehouses with the introduction of smart
corners .
– Improving logistics with RF tracking systems: conducting
feasibility analyses and setting up pilot tests.
