Ennerev at the Salone del Mobile
Ennerev mattresses are not just products. They are a part of our high-tech world.
Mattresses are wellbeing, health and, why not also elegance (see our new fabric upholstered beds). This is the world of Ennerev – proud to be hosted by such a dynamic trade fair as the Salone del Mobile in Milano.

The first item on our innovations list is Xtra-ordinario. The name says it all. The fully-recyclable Xtra-ordinario mattress revolutionises the “steel spring” concept. This internationally patented product is unique in terms of its structure, fill and cover.

A special polyester-based thermoplastic spring system – this is the inner secret that sets Xtra-ordinario apart from other mattresses and renders traditional steel morphology products obsolete. Each spring moves independently from the others, which means the mattress can adapt itself to body movements and, hence, provide optimal comfort.

The components that cover the spring system are not applied by gluing. A special technique is adopted that enables disassembly of all components, each of which can be recycled at the end of the product life cycle.

Moreover, Xtra-ordinario is an amazingly ecological product. The spring system materials are “zero emission”. The fill and outer covering are 100% Ingeo fibre, from Natureworks, produced with annually renewable resources such as maize. These materials combine the performance specifications obtainable from synthetic fibres with the breathability and hygiene characteristics of natural fibres.

Xtra-ordinario is a project that transcends the boundary between the fields of ergonomics and eco-sensitive production. It is the outcome of years of research and an investment of 250,000 euro.

Wellbeing of the mind and body are prime considerations also reflected in the other two mattress lines to be presented at the Salone del Mobile, Bodypure and Bioenergy.

The Bodypure line consists in four visco elastic, body-heat sensitive foam mattresses. This foam provides a snug body contour fit and support where needed while preventing unnecessary pressure which may adversely affect blood circulation.

This makes for blissful sleeping comfort. No irksome pressure points or pins and needles! When we say “complete rest”, we mean it!
All products are covered with “Comfort Streeetch®” – a special elastic textile fabric, with woollen and cotton fill (natural version) or thermal polyester fibre fill (hypo-allergenic version), or simple fibre fabric fill. The covers are designed so that the characteristics of the visco elastic foam will be used to best advantage. The simple fibre solution includes a special 3-D fabric base layer, enhancing the breathability of the mattress.

The Bioenergy line consists in two models with a special “sandwich” structure, combining a solid layer of traditional latex foam and a layer of “slow-memory” latex foam (memo latex).
Memo latex adjusts gradually to the sleeper’s body; it absorbs body heat and enables natural sleep while preventing unwanted pressures or constrictions. The traditional latex provides all the support needed by the various regions of the body. The key feature of the Bioenergy line is its capacity to ensure a correct position for the vertebral column, whether the sleeper is prone or supine.
For the Bioenergy line, too, the elastic “Comfort Streetch” fabrics range from natural to hypo-allergenic.

As a key characteristic of the supports it provides for its ‘sleep technology’ products, Ennerev favours simplicity of design and elegance in its range of fabric and leather beds.
Ennerev’s ‘sample book’ of 54 fabrics and its more than 450 colour combinations have been devised to match the wooden base (teak or wenge).

Ennerev is proud to present its special Baobab model at the Salone del Mobile, with its wooden base and bed ring featuring cylindrical or squared aluminium feet (single, large, double and XL versions available – the starting price for double beds is 805 euro).
The range of leather beds includes two types of structure, and ten colour fields for the headboards, in 4 models. Alternative eco-leather solutions feature 12 colours.

Aida – yet another star feature of the range of Ennerev beds at the show – provides a ‘compendium’ of the qualities and features of the company’s products (eco-leather double and XL beds, with leather bed ring, at a starting price of 1,595 euro).
