Surtex 2005: Largest Showing To Date will Mark Show’s 20th Anniversary

In its largest edition to date, Surtex will celebrate its 20th anniversary with 365 exhibitors within 36,850 square feet of exhibit space – an increase of 12% over last May’s event. Surtex, the premier art and design marketplace, will run May 15-17, 2005, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

In response to the growing demand of artists, studios and licensing agents for more exhibit space, Surtex will expand some 4,500 square feet within Hall E. With the addition of 70 new companies, as well as notable expansion by returning exhibitors, Surtex 2005 will present the broadest range of art and design resources to the American and international art-buying markets.

A comprehensive conference program focusing on licensing, business and trend issues will round out the show, along with the International Student Design Competition and a Trend Display.
Surtex will attract some 5,000 attendees.
