Handicrafts & Gifts Fair, Spring 2005
The
Spring 2005 edition of the Indian Handicrafts and Gifts Fair
will be held in New Delhi, India from February 25th to March
1st, 2005. IHGF will showcase the most exquisite products from
the land that is home to the largest handicrafts industry in
the world.

Indian
Handicrafts and Gifts Fair has grown in stature and participation
since its inception and has today become a much-anticipated
event for the global gifts industry. IHGF is acknowledged as
one of the Asia’s largest houseware, decoratives and gifts
show and offers unmatched merchandising opportunities for a
wide variety of traditional and contemporary handicrafts, decoratives
and gift items.
IHGF Spring 2005 will present international buyers with a unique
opportunity to source new ideas, new product ranges, new businesses
and new raw material bases. The fair will be spread across 75,000
m2 and will feature over 1,500 leading exhibitors from all corners
of India.
Indian Handicrafts and Gifts Fair, Spring 2005 will feature
a wide-ranging collection of products including:
– Houseware, Decoratives and Gifts
– Home Textiles, Furnishings, Furniture, Floor Coverings
& Home Accessories
– Christmas Decorations, Candles & Incense Sticks
– Fashion Jewellery, Accessories & Bags
– Cane, Bamboo & Eco-friendly products.
The last edition of IHGF, Autumn 2004 was attended by 7,500
overseas buyers from 60 countries.
IHGF Autumn 2004 featured the inaugural edition of IFFTEX’04,
the Indian Floorings & Furnishings Textiles Expo, a show
exclusively focussed on the floorings and furnishing textiles
segment. IHGF Autumn 2004 strived to introduce new specialisations
among growing product categories and IFFTEX’04 was an
attempt in this direction.
As it did in last Autumn, Indian Handicrafts and Gifts Fair,
Spring 2005 will once again play host to leading buying houses,
buyers and their representatives from many countries from all
over the world.
IHGF is organised by the Indian Handicrafts & Gifts Fair
Committee of the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH)
under the aegis of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts),
Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
