Nacho Duato: Zen philosophy for Visual’s New Collection

As he has done in his choreographies, Nacho Duato, in his role as trends consultant for Visual Textures, has relied on the balance and naturalness of Zen.

Neutral shades, natural textures and nature-inspired patterns are the hallmarks of the new Riley collection by Visual Textures.
White and the full range of ochres and beiges—the choreographer’s preferred shades—get combined with more vibrant reds, burgundies, greens and blues.

Floral patterns have been designed with the simplicity and delicacy that characterise Zen philosophy and Japanese poetry, with a style based on simplicity and order, reflected in the purity of the colours and materials used.

Thus, for the Riley Collection, Duato has taken natural compositions made from linen and cotton that are soft to the touch
