Lambert presents new trends in the field of home décor from all over the world
At the end of October 2006 the new Lambert lifestyle book will appear. Lambert - a name that stands for experience and know-how, when it comes to interior decoration. The company headquarters are in Mönchengladbach. A lot of time and trouble have been invested in the production of this excellently illustrated book, which has been part of the Lambert tradition for many years. Lambert lovers are eagerly looking forward to the publication date of the new book. The headline of this edition is "TRAVEL the WORLD": Lambert is going to present extraordinary trends of living predominated by furniture and souvenirs from all four corners of the world.

The Lambert designers have always been drawing their inspiration from a melting pot of world cultures. Within the scope of extended trips to far-away countries, they acquire traditional know-how in the field of handicraft, which they convert to modern, timeless designs.

Individual fields of living
The new lifestyle book is a reflection of this motto: Modern-day man is a traveller, a nomad. In his home exotic furniture calls to mind foreign countries; classics create a sensation of home and well-being. But not only in Europe people collect Asian or African objects to combine them with design classics from Scandinavia, Germany or Italy. People from different places, as well, adorn their abodes with decorative objects they discover during their trips around the world.
In the new lifestyle book Lambert has come up with an answer to this trend by presenting interesting examples of international styles of living. Natural, warm materials, such as wood, leather, felt and iron set the scene. Precious textiles, lamps and handmade ceramic articles set beautiful accents. When it comes to the colours, Lambert has skilfully chosen sophisticated colour shades as well as distinctive colour contrasts.

Bernd D. Ehrengart, managing director at Lambert's, commenting on the new lifestyle book "TRAVEL the WORLD":
"Nowadays every self-respecting lover of home décor strives for an individual and authentic interior decoration which is to reflect his/her personality. Furniture telling stories and objects evoking mental images of wonderful trips play a major role in this connection. Skilful combinations and arrangements of design classics, antique elements and the exotic result in natural settings radiating a high grade of authenticity. This mixture is absolutely characteristic of Lambert, and it is popular all over the world: We have customers in Europe, but also in Asia and the USA, who have been realizing their individual way of living with the help of the Lambert furniture and accessories. We will show some of the best and most impressing examples in "TRAVEL the WORLD" hoping that once more we can give plenty of inspiration to our customers."

Design Philosophy
Since 1967, Lambert has been doing successful business in the field of furniture and accessories of living in Germany, Europe and overseas. With objects accurate in every detail and utmost care the Mönchengladbach-based company creates individual worlds of living. Handicraft plays a major role, when the production of the Lambert articles is concerned: Every single piece of furniture as well as each and every accessory is exclusively made by hand in traditional factories resp. workshops. Trendsetting design, high-grade workmanship and the use of natural materials are the ingredients in the Lambert recipe for success. These are the elements by means of which Lambert creates its generous, timeless style of living beyond any seasonal trend.
